Directions: From the city of Alvin travel north 4 miles on
Hwy 35. Turn west (left) on CR 281 and travel .2 miles to the park entrance, on
the left.
This 4 acre freshwater fishing lake is part of the 80 acre
park. The lake has 3 fishing piers and many other bank fishing spots available.
The lake has been stocked with catfish nearly every year since 1996. This lake
is also part of the TPWD trout stocking program. Trout are stocked several
times each fall, be sure and check for the dates on the Texas Parks and
Wildlife web site. Resoft park also features covered pavilions, barbeque pits,
a large multi-stage playground, soccer fields, horseshoes, basketball courts,
volleyball, walking and jogging trails, plenty of paved parking, and restroom
facilities.
