This program is to encourage fishing! These fish are managed as “put and take”. Meaning these fish are big enough to catch and keep as soon as they are stocked. There should be a good supply of fish whenever you get ready to fish. This lake is also part of the TPWD rainbow trout stocking program. Trout are stocked several times each fall, so be sure and check for the dates on the Texas Parks and Wildlife web site. It was stocked eight different times in late 2014 and early 2015.
