As we remember all the brave firefighters who risked and gave their lives on 9-11, we are reminded that they continue to put themselves in harms way somewhere every day.
Houston Firefighter Relief & Retirement Fund Bldg, 4225 Interwood North Pkwy. "Noted local sculptor, David Adickes, designed a memorable bronze statue on a four-sided granite base portraying a firefighter's rescue as he is locked in on a ladder while handing down a baby to another firefighter on the ground. The base of the sculpture memorializes all firefighters lost in the line of duty." /ps
