Directions: Camp Mohawk County Park is located on SH
35, 7.2 miles south of the intersection of Hwy 6 and Hwy
35. Turn right on Mohawk Dr. just south
of Chocolate Bayou bridge.
This 53 acre wooded park has two sections one for day use
and one for overnight guests. There is a 3 acre freshwater lake available for
day use fishing. The back section of the park is for overnight use and has
access to chocolate bayou. Other amenities here include a playground, swimming
pool, walking trails and overnight pavilions. Tent camping sites are also
available. Plenty of paved parking and restrooms are available throughout the
park.
