Directions:
From the intersection of FM 2920 and FM 2978 east of Tomball
travel north 1.7 miles to Hufsmith Rd. and turn right. Continue east 1.2 miles
and turn left into the park. Continue through the park to the north end to find
the lake.
This 320 acre park in Tomball has a 7
acre fishing lake that was stocked with catfish in 2013, and 2014. There is
plenty of bank fishing, a pier, and an island with a walkway to it. It is also
part of the TPWD trout stocking program in 2015. Check the Texas Parks and
Wildlife website for next years stocking dates. No swimming, wading or boating
is allowed in this lake.
The park also includes 5 playgrounds, nature trails picnic
area, a dog park and restroom facilities.
